Is it normal that my sweat smells like taco sauce?

  • How do you not know what taco sauce is

    • When I buy or make tacos it typically comes with salsa.

If that's what you're talking about why would you call it something that sounds so processed? Also, salsa is used in a multitude of other Mexican dishes, so it shouldn't be called taco sauce.

      • I know really. Its tapatio! That is taco sauce. Taco sauce is just hot sauce. Some people like putting hot sauce of tacos.

Salsa is used for chips and stuff not necessarily tacos. I dont know how you can claim to eat Latin food that often and NOT know what hot sauce is.

            • No one I know puts tapatio in tacos. If they are opting for spice they either put salsa Verde or salsa rojo, green salsa and red salsa respectively.

I know what hot sauce is. No one I know, being of Mexican and salvadoran descent, calls it taco sauce.

The salsa on nachos you're talking about is typically called pico de gallo. It is a mixture of chopped onions, diced tomatoes, Serrano peppers, cilantro, and lime juice. It is typically used as a topping for most foods. Although one may put this in their taco they will still use salsa Verde or salsa roja.

Not saying my anecdotal evidence is evidence. Just watch food network and tell me if you see anyone putting tapatio or cholula (better) in their tacos.
