You waited way too long. He's formed a dependency. Since he's been doing it for so long, it will be harder to get him to stop. The mother's who breast feed their children past the recommended age, go through this as well. The kissing and touching is troubling. It will be hard but you must grow a backbone and set up boundaries. Tell him that he must sleep in his own bed from now on. Put a lock on your door so, he can't get in and crawl in bed with you. Let him know that there will be repercussions if he breaks the boundaries. - kick him out. Good luck.
I'm trying to be as sympathetic as I possibly can. Perhaps, family therapy would work? Something needs to be done or it will further escalate. What will happen when he begins dating? etc.
Is it normal that my son still sleeps with me when he is 18 in age now

He is refusing. I can't force him. It's a mother's heart. Please try to understand my situation. I don't like to fight with him.
