Ok I realise its not good parenting to smoke pot with your kids, but do you guys really think her children are better off in the foster system?
Maybe this is the one thing she does wrong, maybe outside of smoking with the older ones shes a perfectly capable mother.
Half of the foster parents out there are just in it for an easy paycheck, and children that go through the foster system have to deal with some fucked up families. I understand the intentions here but I would suggest the OP to strongly consider where the children will be safer.

I completely agree with you. People really need to be careful about who they decide to call social services on. I think those kids are better off with their family, foster care is bullshit and only really worth it if the kid is in a much worse place than a foster home would likely be. Frankly, there's nothing wrong with weed.
Makes you relaxed, calm. And 12 is a perfectly fine age to not cut themselves off of random object, so they'll live.
If she was drunk, then I'd say no.
But weed?
IT's harmless.
Fact: Technically, alcohol and sigarettes are drugs.
In what world is 12 mature enough to make that decision...? Smoke of any kind is dangerous to your health, think about what your inhaling? The paper alone is filled with chemicals, but the smoke its self is bad for you.
