Is it normal that my puppy fat won't go away?

I play a lot of sports, but I still have puppy fat which won't go away. I have tried eating healthier, not eating at all and reducing the portions of food I eat. But I still feel SO uncomfortable going out, even though the puppy fat isn't that visible, I just feel so big. Is it normal for the puppy fat to not be going away?

  • Just eat healthy. If you're really concerned, track your calories using one of the popular free programs available online or on your smartphone. Check with your doctor-- you may well already be an appropriate weight for your height and body type, and if you aren't, they may have ideas for how to lose the excess weight.

  • Depends on how you view yourself. The ending of your post sort if sounds slightly like the beginnings of an eating disorder. You could also possibly have a food allergy that is causing this problem (such as celiac)

  • Well..... I wouid say do not give the puppy anything else to eat. Then in a month, weigh your human weight for a reality check.

  • It depends on your age, how you eat, how much you exercise and your own perception of your "baby fat". As far as I've observed, it seems almost everyone struggles with "their fat". Whether they feel they have too much or too little.
