All pregnancies and women are different. It really depends on whether or not they act like dying swans. In the Third World women often give birth in the fields and carry on back at work. Here we expect to be pampered and pitied.
I never even told anyone (except my husband) that I was pregnant until I was 5.5 months - and only then coz my father in law was dying. I couldn't see why anyone else would be interested. But apart from morning sickness at 4 months when I ate a piece of dry toast in the morning to combat it, I was fine up until the end. No big deal!
I only had one child though - as I'm sure the moaning Minnie will, if it's so bloody bad for her.
Is it normal that my pregnant sister complains so much?
