Is it normal that my period is different after having sex?

My period came today, but it's like strangely light. My cramps aren't as bad as I usually get them & my bf & I did it like 3 or 4 weeks ago? The thing is he didn't even go all the way in so he didn't "pop my cherry" & I've just been really paranoid about not getting my period, but I did get it & it's not normal as it usually is. That was my first time ever having sex or ever doing anything sexual I guess. Help? Advice? Thank you (:

Is it true that some women get really horny on their period?

I have to tell you that just because he didn't go all the way in doesn't mean that you can't get pregnant. Any time a man's penis comes in contact with your vagina, even if he doesn't ejaculate, there is a risk of pregnancy.
As for your question, when you are young (and I'm assuming you are) your flow and subsequent cramping can vary from month to month. I'm not sure your sexual encounter had anything to do with it.

Sounds a little strange but it may or may not be something to worry about. It could be spotting and not a real period; if you're young it could be fine and just caused by fluctuating hormones; it could be lighter because you were stressed out and worrying about your period; or it could be a number of other possibilities as well.
