    You mean back when that judge said child abuse was okay? Yeah, still nuns aren't exactly known for much other than beating kids. Just because it happened to you doesn't make it okay.

            Really? Are you seriously trying to say self-defense is the same as beating the crap out of an innocent person. Even if it is a rapist or a murderer, reasonable force should be used against them. If they are twisted enough to do that or attempt to, they are obviously very sick.

                Harming someone who is trying to rape or murder you is self-defense, how am I putting words in your mouth. And it certainly is not the same as someone(AKA the OP) refusing to do something for your parents as small as grabbing something from another room. So tell me where I'm mistaken.
