Basically, it's time to move out. What you're doing isn't new, because they raised you and you've done this many times before, but the older you get the more they feel you should have left by now; so little things are going to get to them, and the nitpicking is going to get worse as the years go on.
Start looking for a better job if possible, and reasonably priced apartments in decent areas.
