Is it normal that my palm hurts when my feeling get hurt?

Definitely not the crucifixion syndrome. I only get this pain if I think about losing loved ones or breaking up with my boyfriend or hurting someone or someone hurts me. Both palms, right in the base near the thumb. I call it hurty hands and my friends don't understand it. But now it's a way of telling my friends how much I like a guy, if I get hurty hands they know it's serious.
