My mom is the EXACT same way. She flips shittt on me, and then moves on like it's nothing.
You need to just get away from her for a little while every single day, and do something nice for her.
She will appreciate it and a lot of your differences will come together if you both put a step forward. Someone just has to initiate the walk. (:
