my mother and two little sisters think like that and i have friends who have mothers who are solely into media trends and all that crap. unfortunately i think its normal but not right.
Another person who doesn't want to believe that all those magazines and TV shows are to distract her from the bigger plans that are happening around the earth. people like them, They don't want to believe things can go wrong; they don't want to think that there's issues beyond the celebrity gossip and there are secrets that can change the lives of millions of people. She wants to be safe forever in her bubble of beauty products magazines and talk shows.
hopefully something will hit her one day, and she will realise how distracted she has become. you can try and wake her up and show her real news, real information, but if she doesn't want to believe then she wont and she will tell you that your crazy.
