She might have just pour the tough love on a little too thick for you to handle.
My mom, I'm convinced, was nuts, she shit on me a lot, but it was all in attempt to make me a better person, to teach me to care for myself because no one else would.
Sadly she passed away about a year and a half ago and only now do I see the reason she did the things she did.
Is it normal that my Mom wanted me out, but now misses me?

Sorry for your loss. My mother is bat-shit bonkers, and quite frankly, she fucked me up. I doubt i'd feel any emotional loss if she passed.
I truly believe that my Mom just had emotional problems.
