Is it normal that my mom walks around the house naked

My mom has a new belief. She believes that humans aren't meant to wear clothes, and that we should be naked like all the other animals. So, she walks around the house naked. Me and my family try our best to not look at her, and when she talks to us while naked, we barely make eye contact with her. And if we tell her that she needs to put clothes on, she screams at us. It all just feels so wrong. I want this all to end. Is it normal?? Help?????

    My wife also is naked at all times no matter who is present. She was raised naked till she left home at 19 to marry me. Her mom and two sisters were also always naked in the presence of everyone. Whenever we go visit her family for get togethers with her immediate and extended families she strips upon entering and stays naked for the entire time. I will admit it took quite some time for me to get used to.

    If your mother is naked and everyone else is dressed its very inappropriate and in bad taste, there is only one reason she is an exhibitionist. I an one I exhibit my self in college changing room after gym I have no deed to strip completely but I did so people would see me I liked to bend over with my back to someone showing my vagina and anus it really gave me a thrill, I have exposed myself in public that's much more exciting, try it.

    When it comes down to it, it's her body and her choice.

    As long as she's not forcing you to go naked, or wandering around outside, getting arrested, and costing the family money because of her new-found principles, I don't see why this should distress you, although I do accept it's not the cultural norm.

    Your mother is right, of course: we all come into the world naked, and how much we cover ourselves is largely a matter of completely arbitrary, man-made rules (and practical considerations, obviously).

    The only thing that gives me pause is her "screaming" at you when you ask her to get dressed. This suggests that there may be something more going on in her head.

    No. She's weird and a nudist. tell her to put some clothes on and if she doesn't be stern with her. No mother should do that, it's inappropriate. Perhaps humans didn't wear clothes in the olden times, but nowadays it's normal and we wear clothes for warmth. Try to change her mind.
