It seems a tad unusual but if you are all happy then why not? Its only when you don't want it happening it needs to be addressed...........So if you don't like her doing it or it makes you feel strange then ask her to stop. You have a voice and you have every right to say if you don't want this happening. I really feel your mum is kind of violating your comfort zone. You've expressed a concern here so it sounds like you want to act on it.
