Your mother sounds like mine. When her and my dad were still together she used to do everything for him. Cook him breakfast and tell us to make cereal coz we're just kids, buy him everything he wanted and use the last bit of money on his smokes when we desperately needed it for bread for our school lunches or something. Give him aaalllll the attention and barely notice us. Then when they split up she spent more time with us, then she got a bf later on and started her crap again, not giving a shit about us, cooking dinner only to pack it up and take it to his place while we sat hungry at the table. Sorry but some mothers are just bitches. Just don't talk to her. One day she'll realize how much precious time she lost from you.
