It seems as if your Mom is very jealous of your upbringing. I am not a parent, however, sometimes I have to fight off the urge when listening to my friends, who got things like good health insurance, a car, a nice place to live, gadgets and shit handed to them while I have to work for it, complain about petty shit in their lives.
I wouldn't pay much mind to her. Just so long as you are grateful for what you have. It kind of sucks to see people who have a lot more than me when I don't have much, but it sounds like she needs to learn to be more grateful for what SHE has/had. Sounds like your Mom might have some emotional issues and is not entirely happy with her life.
