If it is given to you as an allowance from her, this is normal. If this is money that you legitimately earned through a job, then I have mixed feelings. If you're over 18, have kids, and live under her roof and don't pay rent, it is understandable why she may do this. If you are under 18, she shouldn't do this. If you are living on your own, then she has no business in what you spend.
