Is it normal that my ipod touch changed my life?

Before I got my iPod touch, I was always so bored that I obsessed over my future because I was so sick of the present day. For over a year I fantasized over having a big house with about 20 cats. Then when I got my iPod, it fixed everything. I wasn't bored any more now that I had that to muck about with and although I love cats, I shan't be getting 20 of them! Now I couldn't stand to ever be without my iPod for even just a couple of days. Is this normal?

    obbsesed with music?? me too ^_^ sometimes I wake up with the urge to lisen to a specific song and i can't function with out listening to it. if I can't it will just stew in my head

    I also think cats are nice. But why on earth would you want that many? Your house would be a mess. It would cost you a fortune and all of your time to feed and properly care for all those cats. Never mind the hell that it would be to clean the that much cat poop.

    You should think about quality of the cats' lives too. Most people would agree that one person should not have more than 3 cats to take care of. Have you considered it may be selfish of you to want more cats than that?

    I am happy for you that you have divided your obsession between your cats and your iPod Touch.

    Not particularly normal that it changed your life, but I think that it is a good thing because you seemed to have great disdain for what you "were" beforehand.

    Mine changed my life, because I was able to write my poetry on it.
    It's normal.
