Thank u all for responding...after all this as i dont want to stay with her..my husband is forcing me stay with her...My husband has seen her doing all this stuff to my sister in law who den left..after seeing all this still he supports her in doing nuisence whta does it mean he cannot see what is going on.. i dont want to ruin my marriage with my son.What exactly could be done without ruining my marriage with my son..
I don't know if this is normal in your culture but it really sounds very very strange!! I honestly think that your mother in law is mentally ill. There must be some religious leader that you can speak to. Surely there is another son if your sister in law left. Perhaps you need to move house so that you have at least 2 bedrooms, otherwise where is your own child going to sleep as he gets older.
I'd say he adores his mother and thinks you are unreasonable if it has always been the way but if there's no sex (yuck) you should not be excluded. This woman needs to leave you alone to get your family sorted out - send her to her other son.
My brother in law is nt ready to keep her with him as she has already spoiled his marriage.problem is not with big house even if we have big house she wants her son to sleep with her becoz he is been sleeping with her since childhood otherwise she feels lonely.my husband finds its normal sleeping with mother that is y he has never opposed her.anytime..and it is not at all in indian culture...My husband wants to keep her (and make me to do everythng for her like a maid.she treats me just like a maid) rather she will nt leave him to stay alone otherwise she starts singing raga of raising son doing so much for them..cmon evrybody does for their children..she is not only one..My husband is Introvert he cannot say her anythng back neither he can stay out of her..she holda him badly and to sme extent my husband is also holding her dat is y he ignores her all bad deeds as he has done in past with my sister in law..
So your brother in law won't help you save your marriage.

If not, I would do nothing for either of them! If you go out to work I would not return until they had gone to bed and I would leave my son with them both. Tell them you hope that they will both be very happy together but you are no slave!!
You could always put on headphones or cotton wool in your ears so that you cannot hear her instructions.
Down tools until your husband learns to respect you too - his mother has had her time.
Tell everyone you know about this and make the two of them look very strange but you must remove yourself from that house as much as possible.

lol...i shud buy her aa pet dog..no i hvnt spoken to my family bcoz i had chosen for marriage they r not happy eith the marriage they wont help..even if they,they will spoil it completely..i am stuck everywhere..cud not find way to b out..My husband is loving but wen it cmes to her mother he is just a pupet..I feel sorry for my child dat i hv spoiled his life too..

Just had a thought. She is 'lonely' she needs to grow up!!
Or you could buy her a little dog that she could love and have it sleep with her :o) Sounds like she needs a lapdog!
