It really depends where you live.
For Example:
In South Africa, a rape case is reported on average every 4 minutes.
It is believed that only 1 in every 7 rapes are reported in the first place.
1 in every 3 South African women will be raped at least once at some point in her life.
How could the relatively small police force possibly keep up with a statistic like that?
If OP lives in an area where the law is enforced, she should do everything that she can to have him permanently locked up in jail and, failing that, at least keep him away from her children.
