Is it normal that my husband likes to fart on my cats?

My husband hates cats. He likes to fart on my cats. He purposefully seeks them out, will cuddle them for a few seconds then place their heads near his star hole and lets out a loud smelly fart. He will do this on days when he has had a really heavy meal.

im sure his cats just find this an annoying nuance if anything. Just let him. Means less gas for you to have to smell
