Yeah I don't think this guy is a pervert. I mean, I don't know, but that's not what would first come to mind. My dad does the same thing, and he's 56. He's always hung out with younger people. Most of his friends right now are in their early 20's and most are quite irresponsible. It's because he's incredibly immature and a complete loser. Adults can easily see this and generally avoid him or dislike him but younger people can't always see this. He enjoys the respect and admiration he gets from younger people, it's something he CAN'T get from people his own age due to his behavior and issues.
It's probably something similar with this guy. He gets to be 'cool' and the top dog and it's easy on him because they're kids and easily impressed.

Actually I dont see anything wrong with this at all. Personally I have friends my own age but I also get along with teenagers because I never really grew up. People who grow up can sometimes become more boring while people like me just never settle down and need to be around other reckless hyperactive people to keep from feeling bored with life. Its not bad, its just how some peoples personality is.
