A lot of people like pain with their pleasure. That's not the weirdest i've heard. I've had a guy literally ask to slam my head against blasting speakers while having sex. Some people just have different sexual appetites.
If you're not comfortable with it, she should accept that.
But I also think you should consider talking to her about it and asking why. Discussing boundaries and interests will actually help a lot in cases of awkward disagreements in bed...
