My girlfriend an I have been together for 2 years an now she's going to Miami for springbreak with some friends, at first she didn't tell me but then she did an she really didn't invite me to go, our relationship is kind of unfair she gets to go to partys at college but she doesn't want me to go anywhere without her, I just want to know what others think about the situation
Clearly she's not being too honest with you and since she's not being honest, she most likely suspects you to be the same. So, she wants to watch your every move to make sure you don't cheat while she gets to do whatever she wants...not a healthy relationship at all and at the very least you need to sit her down and have a serious talk. I know it wouldn't be easy to leave someone you've been with for that long.
sounds like she is controlling and most reasons why people are controlling or jealous is because they are doing the dirty and they assume their partner is doing the same. stay with her if you want but dont let her control you. if you want to go to a party, then just go. you dont need her permission to live your own life. if she gets upset then just tell her whats good for the goose is good for the gander. relationships are based on trust, not control. but remember that people dont change, in saying that.... dump her.
I have a problems like that too, my girfriend goes to places and clubbing with her friends but she doesnt want me there. I get mad and curious wat my girlfriend is doing too. But you shouldnt break up or something like that, you should probably persuade her freinds to tell you why is it so, it really helps and and another thing you can do is have a talk with her, tell her that u dont like her going out without you and u really miss her her when u r not around.
