I would say normal in a sense. realize what you said and happening I see two big factors. 1 you met online and live far 2 you only met once In about a years period? being she has a strict mother, you think she would aprove of that? But well just talk to her and try to get more familiar with the family and show that you are really interested. But I personally see somethig odd about meeting online. Like she might seem more like a "online/virtual gf" than a real one you would see in person not jus chatting or whatever. Kids now days..
