Maybe she felt the joke was immature.
It reminds me of one of my ex-boyfriends who liked to discuss "miss kitty" with me in public, as if he was trying to prove something to others.
Although I dumped him for other reasons.... I did not miss his immature sex conversations.
Plus... to be honest, some people are rather grossed out by the thought of genitals being rubbed on the cookware.
