Lucy got some 'splainin to do. If I were dating someone, they would have every bit of necessary info on my relationship with baby daddy. No surprises. She should have told you this before things started getting serious.
She is either young, doesn't know any better and was afraid of what you'd think or she's hiding something. The fact that she invited you over all non-challant seems to say that she has trouble addressing challenging subjects. That is relatively innocent, yet immature and this wouldn't be the only thing she'd have trouble being open about.
