    I've often wondered what makes people like this. is it nature, the person was just born this way? or nurture, a result of the person's environment/upbring/society?

      The environment... everything what you are and do is caused by the people who are around you and your interactions with them!

        I agree that environment does greatly affects who you are as a person. But i look at pedophiles for example and think part of it has to be that they were just born that way. How can environment persuade someone to want to have sex with kids?

          Being abused by parents in you childhood could be a cause for being aggressive and/or wanna have sex with a child... I'm myself a zoo(phile) and could be that it was caused by my father who was beating me sometimes and prefering my sister... I guess thts also the reason why I get aggressive easily -.-
