Is it normal that my friends on snapchat keeps sending shitposts?

My friends on snapchat keeps sending pictures of nothing at all, and selfies (and they arent trying to look good in it either) and sometimes they dont even show their whole face. AND THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME. I used to be like them, but now im starting to snap pictures of food (becuase i have nothing else to do) And i ofcourse enter a text of just why.

Almost everyone is reviewing my snaps, and if i send them snaps of nothing no one is reviewing it. And then suddenly one of my friends said: Can you please stop sending me snaps of food?!

Then im like: Wtf how could he even say that, littelary no one is sending snaps about "anything" and im starting to send snaps of "soimething", like of what what im doing and stuff like that. And now he's annoyied by it?!

All my friends are 13 years old btw.

    I use snapchat, but barely. If you use it the way you do it's gonna become annoying and boring at some point.

    I don't mean your way only but also your friends'. you should just stick to sharing interesting stuff that do not happen every day or actual fun activities that can you can have conversation about.

    Everyone has a face and everyone eats food so its not exactly something you need to share with everyone all the time. And most of what your friends are doing is worse than sharing food and they probably just do it to boost their score or something or cause they are extremely bored.

    So my advice is to tell them you're annoyed by it same way that he did and start sharing interesting stuff or don't share anything at all.
