Is it normal that my friend's ex can only talk to me about sex?

He wants to have sex with you, obviously.

I've never gotten the "no sex with the ex of your friend" rule.

Really, if it's their ex, they obviously don't want to be with them. Why would you forbid someone having sex with someone you don't want to be with yourself?

If you want to talk to him do it. Your friend needs to grow up if she thinks she has a right to play little miss dictator and decide whom everyone else can talk to, just because of how it affects HER.

And no that's not what you were asking but... it does need to be said if you're going to let other people decide who you can and cannot be friends with.

Now if you don't want to talk to him, that's fine. But make it YOUR choice, not someone else's ultimatum. You need to own your own actions.
