Is it normal that my friend loves me?

Is it normal that my best friend says whenever she's up set she said she thinks about me having sex with her. She said a true friend would so she images it happening. She suggest we try and when we did she thinks were a couple now. Now she says she didn't worry because were dating. Is this normal.
