Try some writing down your feelings and thoughts for a while in an exercise book. Getting to know oneself is a life long process and sometimes when we repress too much of who we are or what we feel then things can have a habit of surfacing when we least expect them to. We are all conditioned to a certain extent by external forces, so perhaps something inside you wants to break free from your own conditioning, wether that comes from family or friends. Be good to yourself and learn to be your own best friend.
