Is it normal that my eyes burn when water touches them?
When I'm in a shower some water gets on my eye lids and my eyes start burning and it hurts to open them for awhile. I don't get any sope in them and I don't open my eyes. Is this normal?

Do you wear contacts while in the shower? There's a flesh-eating ameba that is found in tap water and, I think, lakes. Under normal circumstances, it will enter through the nose and make its way to the brain where it will consume it, killing the person. However, if you shower while wearing contacts, it will get trapped underneath the contact and begin to eat. Showering without contacts poses no risk.
