I think you SHOULD tell you current gf. You should never keep secrets in a relationship, small lies lead to big ones, and once you make one lie, you will make MORE lies just to cover that one little lie up. Its a vicious cycle!
Its very inappropriate for ur ex to do this and so unfair. As a female, it kinda upsets me to think that our current bf's may still love their ex's no matter how many years have gone by.
Tell ur gf what's happened and sure as hell tell your ex that you no longer wish for her to remain in contact, she is the past, leave her there. You bringing her into the present may cause problems in ur relationship in the future.
