Is it normal that my dreams follow impossible logic at times?

Like I had a dream tonight where for something like 10 seconds I was a fox running through the forest, then I'm suddenly teleported several meters back and now I'm a human looking at the exact same fox I just was, running away from me. It makes no sense I could be 2 different entities at once. There are also a lot of dreams where it cant decide if I'm over or under water in regards to physics and what creatures exist there. I have dreamed about impossible timeline, something being both before and after a certain event at the same time. Probably more if I think through it.
