Is it normal that my dog is afraid of everything

I have a 9month old lab mix she's a great dog but when she was two months old a neighbor made a nail gun go off and ever since she is afraid of every sound or noise and we can't take her anywhere I don't know what to do I hate seeing her living in fear

Is It Normal?

    well she is a bitch after all...

    But anyway, idk what you can really do, sometime dogs are just funny like that. Like my Dad's GF/friend (idk, somewhere between the two) her dog jack is a big dog. A rottie, germen sheperd mix and he is a super stoic, but if a sponge is thrown at him, he will yelp like he is in pain and jump in the air. LOL

      That's so cute but so sad.

      My cousin's have a great dane mix who was scared of her bed after she sat on it when it was on a squeaky toy, once. She now refuses any dog beds that aren't elevated.
