  • Keep in mind, your general doctor/primary care provider is NOT a nutritionist or a dietitian that'll come up with a diet plan and schedule. Your doctor is there to look over your results, diagnose, assess, and track your progress.

Fruits, veggies, and various nuts are great for you.
Drink a lot of water. Avoid "fruit" juice, as it's mostly sugared up liquid junk. Avoid soda, especially "diet" sodas with artificial sweeteners such as aspartame. It is more harmful than real sugar. Limit boxed and canned foods, as they are highly processed most of the time. ALWAYS GLANCE AT THE LABEL AND INGREDIENTS. Ask yourself these questions: How many servings are you eating? How much sugar is in your food? What are the first 3 ingredients?

It might seem confusing now, but a little awareness goes a long way.
