WELL I TOLD M DAD I WAS SICK (I HAD AN INFECTION) AND THAT I WASNT FELLING WELL, AND STARTED TO TELL ME THAT EVERYBODY IS GOING TO DIE SOMEDAY AND SO WILL I SO I SHOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT GETTING BETTER THAT I SHOULD JUST LIVE WITH IT AND THAT HE WILL NOT BE BUYING ME MEDICINE, HE TOLD ME HE WILL NOT BE WASTING HIS MONEY ON MY HEALTH THAT IT ISNT REALLY IMPORTANT FOR HIM AT THE MOMENT AND I SAID OKAY DAD, THANKS ANYWAYS..
AND PEOPLE ASK ME WHY I WANT TO GO TO A psychiatrist.

    Sounds like your dad needs the shrink and you need to move out.

    He sounds like a jerk and I wouldn't live with someone like that.

      im still 17 i really wish i could move out, thats why im saving up all my money so i can leave honestly.

        Yeah. Try to find someone else who will love you and who cares about you.
        If you’re too scared to move out try to find a neighbor or someone close by to be your friend. Good luck kitty!

    Your dad isn't normal but neither is it normal to not check the heading of your post for errors before sending it, or to send the vast majority of it in capital letters

    I am so sorry to hear that, it's honestly the worst feeling. You should definitely go talk to your school nurse or an adult you trust, feelings being bottled up like this can lead to terrible mental health issues later in life

    So, your mom is not around in the family ? If you are still in school, try going to the nurse and explain to her and see what meds she can get for you. Or you can try going on the cheap, is there a "Dollar" store by you anywhere ? Look around the house for loose change, money in the couch, money in a jar someone is saving. Or you can see if your county has a free health clinic. On another note:it sounds like your dad is being a "Richard Cranium", aka Dick Head.

      OP doesn't need meds from the school nurse or from the dollar shop (where do you live that has dollar shops selling meds???).

      This isn't a health issue, it's an issue of a stupid uncaring parent.

    when i asked my dad for anything he said people in hell want a drink of ice water. he's dead now. if you want to you can grow up and be just like your dad. its your call. you have the power.
