Is it normal that my close friend wont let me meet her boyfriend?

Is it weird that my close friend of 5 years won't let me meet her boyfriend, is she hiding something or she's insecure? I've met some of her ex's when she was with them and she would always telling me to put baggy clothes on because her boyfriend don't need to see my figure and she would try and embarrass me in front of them, its really hurtful I would think she would want me to meet her boyfriend I'm suppose to be her best friend

    She sounds very insecure. Reason or not, she doesn't trust you or him.

    Sounds like she has no trust in you or her boyfriend which is a fundamental component in a relationship/friendship.

    I had a friend who would suspect the worse in me everytime I spoke to his girlfriend. But it was much worse for her girlfriend. The sad thing, his assumptions drove a wedge between us. Not long after I heard his girlfriend left him.

      Well she must not trust her boyfriend because she has no reason to not trust me I have a completely different taste in boys to her and I would never ever fun off with her boyfriend I'm not like that at all
