It's not likely your heart, but your stomach. My stomach can be very sensitive to caffeine or anything that can produce a lot of acid. I don't know the exact reason for it being just Amp (does coffee give you chest pains too?), but it sounds a lot like simple indigestion.
If you really do not want to lay off of Amp, then I would suggest taking a Pepcid acid reducer in the morning, or anytime before you have an Amp. That may help.
