Is it normal that my cat's "name" is kitty?

I have a dog called "Kitty" and my grandparents have a cat they call "Pretty Kitty", so yeah its normal

Original yet interestingly uncommon...its amazing how pets are getting human names now...my neighbour just adopted a cat from a local rescue center called George. She already has a cat called Timmy, but because of his personality I call him Sir Timothy! :)

We had a cat for about 7 years and it's name was kitty. It had a name but after a while we all just forgot what it was.

my cats are all named, but they answer to "kittykittykitty." yeah i'd say this is normal :)

My cats name is Kitty too.When we call her we call "here kitty kitty kitty"And we did name her origanlly but she hadnt been called kitty for so long that I forgot she even had one!!We took her to get fixed a few months ago and when they asked us what her name was it occured to me that I had no dam clue what her name was lmao!!!So I said "KITTY" Thats what stuck

My cat's name is also Kitty except it's a he hahaha. We adopted him from his original owners 5 years ago when he was 6 and that was his name all along so there was no point in changing it.

Yep. It's normal. My kitty is named Scratchy. But he also comes running when I yell, Hey fat boy! He's a very large kitty!
