I have a calico too and she is the sweetest girl who would never hurt me. But sometimes she just gets this predatory look in her eyes (probably from being locked in a house all day, not being able to exercise her instincts) and won't stop until she sees blood.
Is it normal that my cat purrs, then licks, then bites my nose?

We have a calico like that. She'll be happy and purring..then out of nowhere get pissed off and bite the hell out of us haha.
