yes that is normal. kittens can be mental. my cat still runs around the house like a loon, stalking and attacking the dogs and my feet. she likes to attack invisible things too.... she is entertaining to watch lol. thank god she never went through the climbing the curtains stage....

It's normal. Both my cats do what you just described and they are two years old now.

Yes I have known of other cats that will play fetch perfectly like a dog.
I think their intelligence is slightly higher than other cats.
