Is it normal that my butt is darker than the rest of me?

My skin is pale but my butt is much darker than the rest of me. It's not as if I go to the beach and only tan my ass, so what gives?

    Sometimes the "fattier" parts of our bodies tan more. If that's not it...I suggest soap, a washcloth, and some vigorous scrubbing lol!
