Is it normal that my boyfriend puts off buying condoms?

My boyfriend and I just recently started having sex. The first few times, we had to utilize the pullout method because he didn't have a condom, but because of this, neither of us have fully reached our climax when we have sex. For 2 weeks, i've been bugging him to buy condoms and he always puts it off, saying that he'll buy some eventually. Why is that? My last boyfriends would jump at the fact that I wanted to have sex and they'd be at the store in seconds! I think he might prefer 69-ing and oral better but I dont so does this mean he doesn't want to have sex with me anymore?

    Why don't you get birth control pills they are paid for by health insurence, but condoms cost money and also are known to break

    Haha yes yes. That happened to me once.

    Then I got pregnant and the same boyfriend who habitually refused to use condoms, claimed that I MUST have been whoring about.

    I'm not sure who cares about you less, you or him.

    He might feel nervous or get embarrassed by buying them talk to him
