I understand why you are hurt coz most of us feel the need to play the game of VDay. To tell you the truth, I think he's trying to give you a giant hint that he's no longer interested and is hoping that you will dump him, saving him from dumping you. He can then play the victim that you had a silly reason but in reality he is a miserly coward.
