Sounds like he's lost interest or is losing interest in you. Maybe don't be always so available for him and let him know you are having a social life, meeting up with people etc. Don't answer his texts straight away and don't always be the one to contact him first.
Maybe even say you are going on a date with someone else and see how he reacts? His lack of interest could mean he's met someone else too, or he's just lost interest because of the distance. LDRs are hard when there's no end in sight.
