Im 19 and my boyfriend is 20. We have been together for 4 years. He really enjoys to play with his lego collection a few hours a week and owns several boxes of it. He builds big ships and buildings and planes with them and then likes to break them when hes done. Is this normal?

    Lego is the most awesome building material out there so why shouldn't it be normal? I plan to make my next album cover in lego and maybe start making portraits in lego and selling them

    Normal.

    Legos are just another medium amongst countless others like clay, metal, stone, etc... to allow one to create or sculpt 3D artwork. I'm quite fond of Technixs myself!

    Extremely normal - ask him to build himself an extension to your house with lego pieces if you find his hobby annoying.

    Legos may be toys aimed at children but they are fun to play with and allows one to explore creatively.

    Think of it as an alternative to clay pottery / moulding.

    Yup. my brother has been a lego fanatic since he was 4 and now he's 14... and its still his number one thing to do... & HE is pretty damn good at it.
