Maybe he just wants to be more religious. I know it seems odd. But there are a lot of people who actually do that. You have a right to be suspicious though because it's kind of uncommon with guys but still could be the truth.
Also have you noticed anything different with him? He may be depressed or something. Or maybe he notices he is having some kind of problem down there he doesn't want to tell you about.
If I were you I would just sit down and have a calm conversation about it. Don't cheat that's absurd! If you really want some d bad then i would talk to him about taking a break and seeing other people. Cheating is going to ruin your relationship, especially if he finds out.
