No its not normal.Thats very immature of him.Your both adults as such u both have responsibilities that have to be taken care of.Frankly i'm surprised he's still acting like a child considering you practicly live with him.Tell him to act more mature. Being in love is great but you cant eat love,you cant pay for food in the supermarket with love,you cant pay rent with love.Bit of distance in a relationship is always good as it allows each partner to also focus on themselves for a change which is quite healthy.
